AFROC (Air Force Retired Officers Community) was formed in 1984 by a group of retired Air Force officers who dreamed of creating a premier military Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C. Our AFROC membership is now over 1200 strong, including both Falcons Landing residents and those who plan to make it their home in the future.
Independent Living at Falcons Landing welcomes any person who has served at least four years in the uniformed services or a U.S. government agency, as well as those with significant connections to the national defense community. Others may also apply for residency on a case-by-case basis.
For those looking for a higher level of care, including long-term care nursing, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, assisted living or memory care, we are open to the general public. No military or government background is required.
