As much as we like to talk about our facilities and services, the richest resource at Falcons Landing is our residents. When you move to our campus, you become a part of a lively community… part of the Falcon Family.
Our community is a dynamic blend of retired officers and their spouses, as well as surviving spouses. All of them have made great contributions to our country and continue to do so. There are fascinating stories to hear and even more fascinating people who will become your friends and neighbors.
Here you will renew old acquaintances and forge new friendships for the best years of life. As one of our residents recently said, “Falcons Landing forever eliminated the possibility of loneliness.”
Our residents share your adventurous outlook, so you'll never be at a loss for interesting companionship or conversation. Falcons Landing also is close to a number of military bases, which means you'll have access to medical facilities, commissaries, base exchanges and "Space A" travel.

How many times have we used those words when describing our ideal home for our retirement years?
When Falcons Landing was designed, those words to seriously taken into consideration. A lot of time and effort went into the design and construction of our spacious residences. We know that your home has always been the most important financial investment your new investment at Falcons Landing covers lifetime of Long term care needs.
Three-fourths of the residences at Falcons Landing are in spacious apartments offered with six different floor plans from 815 to 1832 square feet. We offer something that will fit your lifestyle, budget, and preferences.
Each apartment building is joined by a climate-controlled walkway to the Community Center and contains:

Eighty homes adorn the streets of the Falcons Landing Campus. This is neighborhood living at its finest.
Homes come in two styles, either a 1464 Sq Ft, duplex patio home or a 2017 Sq Ft, manor house, and have an attached garage.
Our Neighborhood
Just outside our gated, secure community, Potomac Falls is a refreshing blend of city and country. Plus it's close to great medical care, outstanding shopping, and a wide range of educational and recreational opportunities. Spend a day at the Smithsonian Museum in downtown Washington D.C. or the new National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center located at nearby Dulles International Airport.
Enjoy an evening at the Kennedy Center, or a few hours at the National Zoo - without having to travel great distances. Our community is just 20 miles from the excitement, culture and history of Washington, D.C.
For a quieter change of pace, take a tour through the quaint towns in Loudoun and Fairfax counties. Located nearby, they provide a picture-perfect backdrop for a quiet lunch with friends, a refreshing time of antiquing or touring historic landmarks.
For a major dose of culture, try the nationally renowned Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts, which is located less than 10 miles from the community. Take a class at the Virginia Campus of George Washington University, Old Dominion University, or Northern Virginia Community College, each less than 5 miles away. You also have access to the world's great travel destinations through Dulles International Airport (less than 10 miles away) as your gateway.
If you prefer something a bit more natural, try the Algonkian Regional State Park, less than two miles away. It's a great place to golf, picnic, hike, or boat along the Potomac.
Shopping for birthdays, holidays or other special occasions will always be a breeze when you live at Falcons Landing, because we're part of the Cascades, a master-planned community. Less then 4 miles away is the Dulles Town Center, a new 1.4 million square foot, two-level regional mall that provides Loudoun County with a new "town center." Plus, there are more than a dozen large retail centers in Sterling, Herndon and Reston, along with Fair Oaks Mall and the 4-million-square foot Tysons Corner shopping center, which are both within 15 miles.

Community Outreach
At Falcons Landing, we have always understood the importance of being a good neighbor and a good citizen. We put that understanding into action in many important areas through:
- Free tax preparation by certified /AARP/IRS Tax Aides
- Delivery of hot lunches to neighbors participating in the Loudoun County Home Delivered Meals program
- Sew Much Comfort
- Meals Program
- Staffing the Traveler’s Aid desk at Dulles airport.
- Teaching and tutoring in local public schools
One of our residents was chosen by the Virginia Association of Homes and Services for the Aging as the State Volunteer of the Year while another resident was named Loudoun County Volunteer of the year in 2007!
Falcons Landing also hosts a satellite teleconference several times a year, attended by professionals from throughout the community, and we provide internships and volunteer opportunities for students of all ages pursuing a variety of career interests.
