Barbara Brannon, President/CEO

Barb joined Falcons Landing in June 2006 after retiring from the Air Force as a Major General. In her last assignment, she was Assistant Surgeon General for Medical Force Development and Assistant Surgeon General for Nursing. Prior to that, she served for three years as the Commander (CEO), Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB, MD. Barb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from San Francisco State University and a Masters Degree in Cardiovascular Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed the Executive Leadership Course, Haas School of Business, University of California and was an Outstanding Graduate of Air War College. Barb is a Certified Aging Services Professional and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Registered Nurse.
Hardy Lister, CFO

Hardy Lister has been with Falcons Landing since it opened in 1996. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Strayer College, Masters in Business Administration from the University of Montana, and his Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas. During his Air Force career, Hardy served as Budget Officer and Comptroller at Soesterberg Air Base in the Netherlands from 1989 -1993 and as Accounting and Finance Officer at Comiso Air Base, Italy. Hardy retired from the Air Force in 1994 as a Captain. As CFO, Hardy is responsible for all financial management, planning and reporting.
Robert Besserer, Dining Services Director

Robert Besserer has been with Falcons Landing since its inception in February 1995. He spent two and a half years as the Executive Chef before being promoted to the Dining Services Director in 1997. Before joining Falcons Landing, Robert was the Executive Sous Chef at River Bend Golf and Country Club. Robert’s dining program includes daily meal service in four dining rooms and over 100 staff members.
Donna Cassani, Resident Services Director

Donna has been with Falcons Landing since June 2005. In her position as the Director of Resident Services she is responsible for the oversight of Security, Transportation, Independent Living Recreation, Fitness, Resident Counselor and Beauty Salons. Before joining our team Donna was a director at an educational foundation in Washington, DC. Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. She received her Masters Degree in Health Systems Management from George Mason University in May 2011 and earned a Graduate Certificate in Senior Housing Administration from GMU in 2007. In 2012 Donna became a Certified Aging Services Professional through the University of North Texas and Leading Age.
Elizabeth Hamilton, Health Services Administrator

Elizabeth Hamilton joined Falcons Landing in March of 2009 as our Health Services Administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Health Services Administration from George Washington University. Elizabeth has worked as the Health Services Administrator at Lutheran Home-Hickory West, as Operations Coordinator for Lutheran Services for the Aging and as an Accreditation Specialist at CARF-CCAC. In her current position, Elizabeth is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the health care services provided in The Johnson Center and West Falls Center, including skilled nursing and assisted living, as well as the Wellness Center and inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation services.
Carolyn Hill, Marketing Director

Carolyn joined Falcons Landing in 1993 as part of the pre-construction marketing team. She became involved the initial move-in coordination prior to the opening of the community. When this stage was complete she returned to her sales and marketing position and was promoted to Director of Marketing in 1998. Her background is in business and corporate fields. Prior to Falcons Landing Carolyn was a business manager in the medical field, employed by a psychiatric facility during their initial establishment and then with a physician's practice. She participates with the Marketing Professional Certification Program, a nationwide organization designed to recognize excellence in marketing to seniors.
Peter Plante, Facilities Management Director

Peter received his Bachelors degree in Business Management from Southern Vermont College. Peter has been in the building, maintenance and construction industry since the 1970s working with large construction and engineering firms Pulte, Miller and Long and Law Engineering. Peter operated his own home improvement company for many years serving clients in Northern Virginia. As Director of Facilities Management, he is responsible for the Maintenance and care of all buildings, grounds and mechanical systems. He also oversees Housekeeping, Laundry operations and construction projects.
Fred Simpson, Human Resources Director

Fred Simpson joined Falcons Landing as the Director of Human Resources in August 2006. A career professional in the field of Human Resources for the past 15 years, Fred has held senior level positions in the healthcare, hospitality and retail industries. Prior to Falcons Landing Fred was the Assistant Administrator for Washington Nursing Facility. Fred has been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 2001. In his current position, Fred is responsible for the hiring, training development and benefits of over 350 employees.
