Dining Room Manager

Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years management/supervisory experience in a restaurant style dining room; CCRC dining or country club dining. Previous catering experience desired but not required. The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, rotating weekends and holidays. Excellent communication and outstanding customer service skills highly desired.

Wait Staff

Performs a wide variety of services in the dining room including waiting on assigned tables, taking orders, setting and bussing tables. Must be able to read, write speak and follow written and oral directions. Experience desired, but not required.

Porter – 1 Full Time

Keeps offices, buildings, apartments and health center in clean and orderly condition. Performs floor and carpet care using appropriate equipment. Previous experience desired, but not required.

Lifeguard - Part Time & PRN - Weekends, flexible shifts

Monitors activities in swimming area to prevent accidents and provides assistance to swimmers in a one lifeguard on duty pool environment. HS Diploma or GED, Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid and Pool Operators Certification required.

THE JOHNSON CENTER

Social Worker

Falcons Landing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and talented Social Worker for The Johnson Center Long Term Care facility. Our ideal candidate:

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be well versed in managing difficult and sensitive situations, able to work independently and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to understand and manage confidential and sensitive information with professional discretion.

· Experience with discharge planning, managing referrals, and coordinating services with external agencies are required.

· Must hold a BA in Social Work or degree in other related human services fields

· And have a minimum of 2 years experience as a social worker; long-term care experience is highly desired.

Education/Infection Control Coordinator

Falcons Landing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and talented Education/Infection Control Coordinator for The Johnson Center Long Term Care facility.

Our ideal candidate:

· Must have excellent education and infection control teaching experience.

· Must exhibit strong managerial and leadership ability; significant experience organizing and preparing required and innovative education/infection control programs.

· Must be available to work various shifts to ensure all staff members are receiving the required learning and development tools.

· This position assumes the responsibility for total education/infection control compliance for all levels of nursing and residents in LTC and Assisted Living.

· A minimum of 2 years experience as an education/infection control coordinator required; experience in LTC with evidence of continuing education in gerontology.

RN & LPN Charge Nurse – PRN

Available full-time Charge Nurse Positions; 12 hours shifts 7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am for Registered Nurse and License Practical Nurse. PRN available with signed agreement of one shift a pay period and one weekend a month minimum. License must be in good standing with the Department of Health Professions. Experience in Long Term Care & Assisted Living a plus.

CNA – PRN Only

Able to work standard PRN agreement of one shift a pay period and one weekend a month minimum. License must be in good standing with the Department of Health Professions. Experience in Long Term Care & Assisted Living a plus

CNA – 2 Part Time & PRN – Assisted Living

Under the direction of nursing and medical staff, provides care for residents. Certification as a Nurse Aide by the Virginia State Board of Nursing; or proof of completion of requirements and eligibility to become certified as a Nurse Aide. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
