General Hansford T. (H.T.) Johnson, USAF-Ret., Chairman
General Johnson has over 41 years of service to our nation in front-line leadership and planning experience in the military, public, and business sectors. He is an Air Force Academy graduate and holds a Master’s Degree in Aeronautics from Stanford and an MBA from Colorado. In 1989, General Johnson served as the Director of the Joint Staff and was the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Transportation and Military Airlift Commands. After retirement from the Air Force, H.T. joined USAA Capital Corporation. He was appointed to the 1993 Base Realignment and Closure Commission by Presidents Bush and Clinton. He later served as Assistant Secretary of the Navy and Acting Secretary of the Navy.
Lt Gen Lansford E. Trapp, Jr., USAF-Ret., Vice Chairman
General Trapp received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University. He later earned a master’s degree in public administration from Pepperdine University in California. Before his retirement from the Air Force, he was the vice commander of the Pacific Air Forces, responsible for supporting 45,000 Air Force personnel serving in Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Korea and Japan. He is currently the vice president of the Air Force sector for Burdeshaw Associates.
Col Glenn R. Zauber, USAF-Ret., Treasurer
Col Zauber is a United States Air Force Academy graduate, and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He has in-depth experience in financial management (budgeting, investing, accounting, and cost analysis), computer systems development, planning, and personnel development. For the last eleven years, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Military Officers Association of America. He is a member of the Board the Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Col Kathleen Campbell, USAFR-Ret., Secretary
Air Force Academy graduate with 13 years of experience analyzing data and information to provide advice on the development of agency policy and programmatic and legislative initiatives and 10 years of experience analyzing information systems and budgets. While on active duty, she was the Deputy Chief, Budget Division of the Office of the Air Force Reserve. This was followed by service as Chief, Policy Integration Division, Office of Air Force Reserve.
Col Regis Canny, USAF-Ret.
Col. Canny is a CPA with a BSBA in Accounting from Duquesne University and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado. He holds a Certified Managerial Accountant’s Certificate. Colonel Canny has extensive financial, budget, program management, systems acquisition, and strategic planning experience. Upon retirement from the Air Force, he was the Executive Director for The Institute for the Accreditation of Professional Employer Organization. He then was the President at CS Twin Consulting Services. Currently, he is with Technology and Management Services.
Maj Gen Andrew M. Egeland, Jr., USAF-Ret.
General Egeland received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia followed by a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He served as the deputy judge advocate general of the U.S. Air Force in Washington, D.C. and has extensive legal experience as a director of civil law and litigation for the Air Force Legal Services Agency. He retired from the Air Force in March of 2000, and does legal consulting. He is presently the President and CEO of the Association of Military Banks of America, a not-for-profit, incorporated trade association that represents banking institutions specializing in providing banking services worldwide for military personnel, their families, the military establishment and other government agencies. General Egeland is also serving as the Vice Chairman of the Fauquier County Human Rights Committee.
Brig Gen Barbara Goodwin, USAF-Ret.
General Goodwin was an Air Force Flight Nurse who later became the Chief of the Air Force Nurse Corps. She currently works part time for the American Red Cross Blood Program. She is a member of the Board of “Women in the Military Service of America”
(Women’s Memorial at Arlington Cemetery). She is on the Northern Virginia MOAA Chapter, Board of Directors; on the Advisory Council for the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Program, and is a Lector in her church.
Col Jamie Gough III, USAF-Ret.
Col Gough received his Bachelor in Science from the United States Air Force Academy in 1966, a master’s of art in Personnel Management from Central Michigan University, and a master’s degree in National Security Studies from the National War College. His areas of expertise include economics, organizational development and adult learning theory. He is presently on the Board of Governors of the Army-Navy Country Club and the Virginia State Golf Association.
Col James M. Owendoff, USAF-Ret.
Colonel Owendoff earned a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) at Cornell University. Upon retirement from the Air Force, he went to work for the Department of Energy in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Environmental Management where he served in a variety of positions to include Acting Assistant Secretary. He is currently serving in the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management as the Associate Director for Integration. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers, and a Registered Professional Engineer, Colorado.
Col Richard R. Ridolfi, USAF-Ret.
Col Ridolfi received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Miami and a Masters of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in 1974. He is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C., and the Executive Program, Darden graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. His primary areas of expertise include financial management, budget, cost analysis, information systems, and industrial engineering. After his Air Force retirement, Col Ridolfi worked for the Robbins-Gioia Company planning, organizing, and delivering project control services on a variety of government and commercial contracts. He was President of R3, Inc. a consulting services firm for start-up businesses. He is presently an Alderman on the Town Council of South Padre Island, Texas.
Maj Gen Michael K. Wyrick, USAF-Ret.
General Wyrick holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in health services administration from Baylor University. He attended the Health Executives Leadership Development Program at Cornell University and the Health Executives Leadership Institute at Duke University. During his Air Force career he served as the deputy surgeon general and chief of the Medical Services Corp. He was also the executive agent for the Defense Department’s TRICARE Infrastructure Management Project. He is Board Director of the Northern Virginia Hospital Alliance, a 501(c)(6) corporation of the 13 hospitals in eight counties in Northern Virginia.
